About Gareth
Gareth began his legal career in 2002 with Bell Wright & Co in Gainsborough before progressing through a number of respected firms across Lincolnshire and Nottinghamshire. Over the course of more than two decades in the legal profession, he has developed extensive experience in private client matters, building a loyal and longstanding client base along the way. This has been founded upon an exceptional reputation for delivering clear, practical advice together with a highly professional yet personal service tailored to each client’s individual circumstances. Many of Gareth’s clients continue to seek his advice today, having first instructed him at the very beginning of his career.
In 2026, Gareth established Lloyd Legal Services with the aim of providing a modern, approachable and client-focused service, whilst maintaining the traditional values of trust, professionalism and accessibility. He understands the importance of making legal and estate planning advice straightforward and convenient for clients and is therefore able to offer appointments in the comfort of clients’ own homes across Lincolnshire, Nottinghamshire and beyond*.
Gareth believes strongly in building long-term relationships with clients and providing advice in a clear and transparent manner. He is always happy to have an initial informal discussion without charge** and is committed to offering a transparent pricing structure, ensuring clients have clarity and confidence from the outset.

Initially the estate was being handled by another firm of solicitors who appeared to be progressing matters very slowly, so Gareth was asked to step in and help. When he did, the estate was quickly finalised and distributed between multiple beneficiaries. We were all kept up-to-date with progress and the reasons for any delays, so I knew what was happening throughout the process. My elderly aunt was in a care home and we had to raise the sensitive subject of Lasting Powers of Attorney with her and other relatives as her mental capacity was slowly declining. I was concerned about how she would react to this as she was still a very strong-minded, independent lady despite her illness - but I need not have worried!
